Do I Need To Cycle / PCT (Post Cycle Therapy) a Testosterone Booster?

By James McAra Leave a Comment

Health, well-being and even success are all achievable through moderation.

Pushing yourself too hard is almost certain to be a recipe for disaster. It would be easy to assume this applies to your testosterone booster; hence the question do I need to cycle a testosterone booster?

The short answer is NO.

The Role of a Natural Testosterone Booster

A quality testosterone booster should contain certain natural ingredients such as D-Aspartic acid, Vitamin D3, Magnesium, Zinc and perhaps Fenugreek.

It does not contain any type of artificial components such as synthetic testosterone.

These natural ingredients trigger essential responses in your body to increase the amount of testosterone you’re producing.

A good testosterone booster will help support your body and help you to reach the upper limits of normal testosterone levels. It won’t take you past these.

Because these are natural products there is no need to cycle them. They should have no negative effect on your body or discourage the way your body normally works.

A T booster simply helps you to be the best you can be.

It’ worth noting that the most effective T boosters are designed to be taken 3 or 4 times a day; this will help to ensure your testosterone levels are elevated and remain elevated throughout the day and night.

Understanding Cycling & PCT (Post Cycle Therapy)

Anabolic steroids are drugs that give your body synthesized testosterone. This will increase your T levels but could take them outside the normal range.

The problem with taking anabolic steroids is not just that you could over elevate your T levels causing side effects and health issues.

While you’re on the steroids your body doesn’t need to produce testosterone this will depress your body’s ability to produce testosterone.

Unfortunately taking steroids for an extended period of time will lead to irritability, paranoia, mood swings and impaired judgment.

To try and avoid these anabolic steroid users will cycle their use of the drug. This means taking it for 6 to 12 weeks and then stopping for roughly the same number of weeks or less.

It depends on how aggressive they want to be with their cycles and then they start a new cycle of drugs.

Of course if you’re testosterone levels are suppressed then your body will find it difficult to produce sufficient testosterone when you’re not taking steroids.

Post Cycle Therapy

PCT is the application of different drugs in a bid to help you maintain your testosterone levels in between cycles.

The two most common drugs are clomiphene citrate and tamoxifen.

These act to block the production of estrogen in your body; effectively allowing you to produce more luteinizing hormone which will stimulate your testes to produce more testosterone.

Taking these drugs can help your body to produce testosterone but their effectiveness will depend on how heavy your androgen cycle was.

There is also the risk of similar side effects to those of the steroids including severe gynecomastia (man boobs) if PCT is not done properly.

The real issue with anabolic steroids is that they will damage your body’s ability to work normally. Even using PCT does not rectify this.

Clearly using a natural T booster does not require PCT.

Why Testosterone Boosters Are Different

Testosterone boosters are made with natural ingredients that stimulate and support your body’s natural T production safely.

You don’t need to cycle them or do PCT.

They simply work with your body’s natural system supporting & stimulating greater testosterone production naturally.

This means you don’t need to worry about cycling a testosterone booster or about it causing long term harm to your body.

At the same time you can still enjoy all the benefits of having optimal T levels.

Which means greater muscle growth, increased strength, reduced body fat, higher libido and a more positive confident you.
